AxonDeck — DJ sync and visualisation that stays phase-locked

Problem

Decks, computer, lights and visuals each speak their own protocol. When one loses phase, the whole room hears and sees it. Existing tools solve one bridge at a time.

System

AxonDeck is a C#/.NET core that reads Pro DJ Link from Pioneer CDJs, emits MIDI Clock/MTC, Ableton Link, OSC and Art-Net DMX, and keeps them on one timeline. Network timing variance (“Micro Drift”) is smoothed by a flywheel algorithm; the state is either “Phase locked” or it is not. A WebGL visualiser reacts to the beat. The UI exists in two technologies — React 19 + Tailwind + Zustand on the web and WPF on the desktop — and both derive from one Design DNA v2.0 token file: Axon Cyan #00FFD1 on Abyss #03030A, 15:1 contrast, Inter + JetBrains Mono, 48 px touch targets, “Sentient UI” behaviours (Magnetic Gaze, X-Ray Tooltips, Kinetic Drag) (source: Design DNA v2.0).

Decisions

Booth-grade, not a consumer app: an exact number before a descriptor (“1200 ms”, not “a brief pause”), declarative copy (“must”, not “should”) (source: AxonDeck brand voice). One token file, two renderers — WPF is not a copy of the web, it is a second body for the same DNA. Monetisation (free → Pro → Studio → Enterprise) is a GTM plan, not yet a public price.

Metrics

5 protocols, 15:1 contrast, 2 user interfaces (source: Design DNA v2.0). The public site axondeck.com is down as of 2026-09-11 (HTTP 402 — hosting invoice), which is why this is a Case without an external link until it is restored.
